What ORBIT stores
- Account: the e-mail from your Apple or Google sign-in, your display name, and your phone number — only as a cryptographic hash, never in plain text.
- Your circle: who you are connected with, requests, and who you have muted or removed.
- Presence: your chosen status (e.g. Networking), a coarse location (area + coordinates used only to compute distance for your circle) and how fresh it is. Incognito switches this off.
- Calendar: free/busy windows only — never event titles, contents, places or guests. Used to suggest times that work for both of you.
- Plans & meetups: plans you post to your circle and meetups you confirm.
- Technical: a push token for notifications, your app language, and your notification preferences.
What ORBIT never does
- Your address book never leaves your phone in plain text — matching uses hashes; names stay on your device.
- No precise live map, no movement profile, no ad tracking, no sale of data. No cookies on this page.
- Friends of friends never see your location.
Where your data lives
On EU servers (Supabase, EU region), encrypted in transit and at rest. Notifications go through Apple; sign-in e-mails and calendar invites are delivered by our e-mail processor.
Deleting everything
In the app: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and all data listed above, immediately and permanently. You can also e-mail us and we will do it for you.

Was ORBIT speichert
- Konto: die E-Mail aus Deinem Apple- oder Google-Login, Dein Anzeigename und Deine Telefonnummer — nur als kryptografischer Hash, nie im Klartext.
- Dein Kreis: mit wem Du verbunden bist, Anfragen, und wen Du stumm geschaltet oder entfernt hast.
- Präsenz: Dein gewählter Status (z. B. Networking), ein grober Standort (Gegend + Koordinaten, nur zur Distanz-Berechnung für Deinen Kreis) und dessen Frische. Incognito schaltet das ab.
- Kalender: nur frei/belegt-Fenster — nie Titel, Inhalte, Orte oder Gäste Deiner Termine. Genutzt, um Zeiten vorzuschlagen, die beiden passen.
- Pläne & Treffen: Pläne, die Du in Deinen Kreis stellst, und bestätigte Treffen.
- Technik: ein Push-Token für Mitteilungen, Deine App-Sprache und Deine Mitteilungs-Einstellungen.
Was ORBIT nie tut
- Dein Adressbuch verlässt Dein Telefon nie im Klartext — der Abgleich läuft über Hashes; Namen bleiben auf Deinem Gerät.
- Keine metergenaue Live-Karte, kein Bewegungsprofil, kein Werbe-Tracking, kein Datenverkauf. Keine Cookies auf dieser Seite.
- Freunde von Freunden sehen Deinen Standort nie.
Wo Deine Daten liegen
Auf EU-Servern (Supabase, EU-Region), verschlüsselt bei Übertragung und Speicherung. Mitteilungen laufen über Apple; Login-Mails und Kalender-Einladungen über unseren E-Mail-Dienstleister.
Alles löschen
In der App: Einstellungen → Konto löschen. Das entfernt Dein Konto und alle oben genannten Daten — sofort und endgültig. Alternativ schreib uns eine Mail, wir erledigen es für Dich.
